Hi kitties, today I'd like to review some new vintage inspired dresses for you. A few times ago, I've been contacted by Pretty Kitty Fashion. Pretty Kitty Fashion is a vintage inspired company based in the U.K. They are retailers for various brands, as collectif clothing or even banned, and they also sale their own dresses made in the U.K!

I'm very excited, because they proposed me to try out some of their dresses to take pictures and to give you my honest opinion about their garments. Of course I said a big YES! Scroll down to discover some of their beautiful dresses and to find a 10% additional discount!!!

❤️ Here are the two beautiful dresses I've selected ❤️

The shipping was quite fast, as it took about a week to arrive in France. The dresses were nicely wrap is a beautiful pink paper with a leaflet that features some of their more popular styles.

To select the dresses I've followed their size chart and went for a size 12 for both dresses. I'm a 96-73-103 fyi (I definitely need to cut out cheese and sugar from my diet, but I fail every single time I try! If you have tricks to help me, comment below). For choosing the size and because I like to feel comfortable in the bust area, I selected the clothes that fit my bust measurements, even if I need to rework my dresses at the waist most of the times.

The fit of the navy dress is perfect! Because it's a bit pleated at waist it's very forgivable and I didn't have had to modify the waist. The fabric is thick and even thought it's not lined it doesn't mark the underwear lines. I feel very glamorous wearing this dress and it's already one of my "go to" dress when I have to choose what to wear for going to the office.  

Also, it makes the perfect base for a Genie disneybound! I wore this dress at Disneyland Paris and the Genie recognized me, we even danced together for few minutes! It was sooooo cool, I felt very special!

The red dress is a faux wrap style with beautiful sleeves, stunning, perfect for summer. As the blue one, it's not lined. The fabric feels a bit thinner but heavier at the same time (even in french, I don't know how to explain it correctly)! It's very comfortable and I like how the fabric falls when worn, but at the same time it shows a bit more the underwear lines.

For this dress, I had to rework the waist as it's very very elastic! I think I should have chosen the size 10! Still, it's one of my favorite dress now, and I'll definitely wear it for valentine's day!

Today, I'd like to review a dress from the shop Zapaka

This is a sponsored review. They kindly sent me a dress so I can write you my true opinion about it. So, here we go.

First of all, what I like with Zapaka is that they take pictures of all their dresses. So the ones you see on the website are real, you should not have any bad surprise this way.

The dress has been sent to me on December the 30th and I've received it on January the 2nd. I'm very pleased about how fast it was! I've received the dress in a plastic envelope, wrap in a cute zip plastic bag with the logo of the brand (I really like that kind of bag to be honest!).

The dress doesn't have any lining, but the fabric used is very soft and opaque. I love that the dress has pockets!!!! Another very good thing, is that it doesn't need ironing! I'm terribly lazy and I hate to iron my clothes. After washing it (at 30°C, using the machine machine),  just hung the dress and it will be ready to wear once dry!

About the color, it varies if you look at it inside or outside. It looks more bright outdoors, as you'll see in the worn pictures.

About the fit, I've nothing to say! I fit like a glove! M size was the perfect choice for me! It's very comfortable. PERFECT!

It's a beautiful dark green dress, simple enough to be worn day and night. That's why I've decided to make a day outfit and an evening outfit to show how with small different accessories you can twist your style and go out just after work.

I styled the dress with a mak sweater cardigan (review coming soon!), a brown beret, a vintage bag, and flats. During the day I'm very active, so flats are the best option for running around!

For the night I like to feel fancy. I added Vivienne Westwood earrings, a matching belt, a pair of leather gloves and true vintage shoes and hat.

So far, I'm very pleased with everything! My only criticism is that because of the lack of lining, the dress has a bit of static electricity when you wear tights. Nothing that can't be resolved with a bit of hairspray (apply a bit of hairspray on the inner side of the skirt, it works like magic for static electricity!)

Miss Candyfloss - Gigi Bo Jumpsuit review

I know there are already tons of review of this glorious jumpsuit all around the internet. But, maybe you don't know about this brand or this jumpsuit. Or maybe you're here because you want to read another review, just to find an excuse to buy it, because -spoiler alert- this jumpsuit is fantastic and you need it in your life!

Well, you pretty much know my opinion about it by reading those lines... But let's talk about it anyway, starting with the brand.

Miss Candyfloss is "a retro brand inspired by the styles of 1940´s and 1950´s, with a twist of the 21st century’s sexy women [...] manufactured within Europe under fair trade conditions. [...] The clothes aren’t mass produced in large factory lines, so things like working conditions, salaries and good item quality can be kept a closer watch upon."

I know, it's pretty rare and impressive to read this nowadays. I have the chance to own several items from this brand and I can confirm that the quality is amazing.

The Gigi Bo jumpsuit is one of their best sellers. As said by Top Vintage (who regularly sell this jumpsuit) :

"Cassy, elegant, playful but also very sexy! The fitted top is nicely cut into a v-neckline and features a pleated bust part which is both suitable for a fuller and a smaller cup. The flattering 3/4 sleeves feature playful wrap overs and the pleated legs are true eye-catchers; typical forties"

What do I think about it? Well, pretty much the same.

You have to know that one of my biggest fears when I buy clothes, is that it would make my breast appear bigger than reality. I was afraid of that because of the pleats, but to be honest, it doesn't enhance or minimize the breast, it just compliments it - which I really appreciate. The fabric hugs your waist elegantly and the legs are very comfortable. By the way, you have to know that the legs are veeeery long, they may have to be shortened depending on if you want to wear the jumpsuit with or without heels!

Do I see a negative point? Yes, I do. Now I own two of them, I need them in every single colorway!!!

♥ Geo Coloured Lenses Review ♥

Hello friends! What about starting this new page of my life with a circle lenses review? Last year I had the chance to have a myopia surgery, so now I can see clearly without lenses, nor glasses, but I still love the look of circle lenses, especially with lolita fashion.
Last month I've received in my email box a nice advertising for Geo Coloured Lenses. Some of their products were on sale, I still had a bit of money on my bank account, so , I didn't resist for long before ordering a new pair of lenses. First, I have to say that this entry is not sponsored by Geo Coloured Lenses at all, but I know some of you are struggling in finding the good lenses. So, here we are.

L'année dernière, j'ai eu la chance de pouvoir faire une chirurgie de la myopie, je peux donc voir sans plus aucun problème, mais j'aime toujours autant le look des circle lenses, en particulier lorsque je porte la mode lolita. 
Le mois dernier, j'ai reçu dans ma boîte mail une publicité assez sympa de Geo Coloured Lenses. Certains de leurs produits étaient en solde, j'avais encore un peu d'argent sur mon compte en banque, je n'ai donc pas résisté longtemps avant de commander une nouvelle paire de lentilles. Au passage, je dois vous dire que cet article n'est pas du tout sponsorisé par Geo Colored Lenses, mais je sais que certains d'entre vous peinent à trouver de bonnes lentilles. Alors c'est partit !

I ordered my lenses the 3/19/18 and received them about two weeks after which is, in my opinion, a very fast shipping for a free delivery service!

The lenses arrived in a bubble Kraft envelope. And the lenses' boxes themselves were wrapped in a foam sheet. I paid $12 for these lenses. Actually, they were on sale for $15, but if it's your first order on this website, you can have a 20% discount by using the code "WELCOME20" (just sayin'!)

Les lentilles sont arrivées dans une enveloppe kraft à bulles. Et les boîtes des lentilles étaient elles-mêmes enveloppées dans du papier mousse. J'ai payé 12$ pour ces lentilles. After soaking them in my contact lens solution for 48h, I tried them on. Even though i really love the style of these lenses, I don't find them very comfortable. I wore them for 4 hours in a row and when I removed them, I found my eyes very dry. Also, these particular lenses tend to blur a bit my vision. They are not my favorite ones from far, I think I'll stick to my beloved geo princess mimi lenses for my next order. Anyway, here is the final look. What do you think?

Après les avoir laissés tremper pendant 48h dans mon liquide à lentilles, je les ai donc essayés. Même si j'aime vraiment le style de ces lentilles, je ne les trouve pas confortables du tout. Je les ai portés pendant 4 heures de suite et quand je les ai enlevés, mes yeux étaient assez secs. De plus, ces lentilles ont tendance à brouiller ma vision. Ce ne sont pas mes préférées et de loin, je pense que je vais m'en tenir aux lentilles geo princess mimi (que j'adore) pour ma prochaine commande. Quoi qu'il en soit, voici le résultat final. Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Les grands thermes

Come with me in a place out of time. The old thermal baths of Châtel-Guyon were built in 1906 and are a wonder of architecture. This majestic classified monument mixes antic and Roman architecture. But, all things come to an end. The thermal baths closed their door definitely in 2004 to the benefits of more modern ones that have been built a few hundred meters away, and what was yesterday a jewel in thermal baths monuments is slowly dying. Today, nature takes over.

Suivez-moi dans un endroit hors du temps. Les vieux thermes de Châtel-Guyon construites en 1906 sont une merveille d'architecture. Ce majestueux bâtiment classé monument historique mêle constructions antique et romane. Mais, toutes les choses ont une fin. C'est en 2004 que les grands thermes ont définitivement fermé leurs portes au bénéfice de plus modernes construites à quelques centaines de mètres, et ce qui était hier un joyau parmi les thermes meurt aujourd'hui à petit feu. La nature reprend ses droits.

Nowadays, the building is a property of my town's city hall. Normally, only the hallway is accessible to the public. For the time of a photo session, the doors were opened to me, and I had the chance to explore further this building. Thank you very much to the city hall for giving me this chance.

Aujourd'hui, le bâtiment appartient à la mairie de ma ville. Et normalement, seul son vestibule est accessible au public. Les portes m'ont été ouvertes pour le temps d'une séance photo, et j'ai pu avoir la chance d'explorer un peu plus ce bâtiment. Merci beaucoup à la mairie de m'avoir donné cette opportunité.

Dress Review

I really love this dress. It's very comfortable and easy to accessorize. The construction is on point and it comes with the removable corset belt that I'm wearing in the pictures. This dress is pretty heavy, which I really appreciate. You need a very good petticoat underneath though. For these pictures I wear a petticoat on top of a crinoline for achieving the wanted shape. 
Also, I really like that it has a removable bow. Maybe you've seen that I pinned it in my headdress for improving the color harmony of the outfit.

J'adore cette robe. Elle est très confortable et facile à accessoiriser. Elle est également très bien construite et est envoyée avec la ceinture corset amovible que je porte sur les photos. Cette robe est également assez lourde, ce que j'apprécie tout particulièrement. Ceci dit, il est nécessaire de porter un très bon jupon en dessous de celle-ci. Pour ces photos je porte un jupon au-dessus d'une crinoline afin d'obtenir la forme désirée. 
De plus, j'aime vraiment le fait qu'elle ait un noeud amovible. Peut-être aurez-vous remarqué que je l'ai épinglé dans mon headdress pour améliorer l'harmonie des couleurs de la tenue.
