Hi kitties, today I'd like to review some new vintage inspired dresses for you. A few times ago, I've been contacted by Pretty Kitty Fashion. Pretty Kitty Fashion is a vintage inspired company based in the U.K. They are retailers for various brands, as collectif clothing or even banned, and they also sale their own dresses made in the U.K!

I'm very excited, because they proposed me to try out some of their dresses to take pictures and to give you my honest opinion about their garments. Of course I said a big YES! Scroll down to discover some of their beautiful dresses and to find a 10% additional discount!!!

❤️ Here are the two beautiful dresses I've selected ❤️

The shipping was quite fast, as it took about a week to arrive in France. The dresses were nicely wrap is a beautiful pink paper with a leaflet that features some of their more popular styles.

To select the dresses I've followed their size chart and went for a size 12 for both dresses. I'm a 96-73-103 fyi (I definitely need to cut out cheese and sugar from my diet, but I fail every single time I try! If you have tricks to help me, comment below). For choosing the size and because I like to feel comfortable in the bust area, I selected the clothes that fit my bust measurements, even if I need to rework my dresses at the waist most of the times.

The fit of the navy dress is perfect! Because it's a bit pleated at waist it's very forgivable and I didn't have had to modify the waist. The fabric is thick and even thought it's not lined it doesn't mark the underwear lines. I feel very glamorous wearing this dress and it's already one of my "go to" dress when I have to choose what to wear for going to the office.  

Also, it makes the perfect base for a Genie disneybound! I wore this dress at Disneyland Paris and the Genie recognized me, we even danced together for few minutes! It was sooooo cool, I felt very special!

The red dress is a faux wrap style with beautiful sleeves, stunning, perfect for summer. As the blue one, it's not lined. The fabric feels a bit thinner but heavier at the same time (even in french, I don't know how to explain it correctly)! It's very comfortable and I like how the fabric falls when worn, but at the same time it shows a bit more the underwear lines.

For this dress, I had to rework the waist as it's very very elastic! I think I should have chosen the size 10! Still, it's one of my favorite dress now, and I'll definitely wear it for valentine's day!

I know there are already tons of review of this glorious jumpsuit all around the internet. But, maybe you don't know about this brand or this jumpsuit. Or maybe you're here because you want to read another review, just to find an excuse to buy it, because -spoiler alert- this jumpsuit is fantastic and you need it in your life!

Well, you pretty much know my opinion about it by reading those lines... But let's talk about it anyway, starting with the brand.

Miss Candyfloss is "a retro brand inspired by the styles of 1940´s and 1950´s, with a twist of the 21st century’s sexy women [...] manufactured within Europe under fair trade conditions. [...] The clothes aren’t mass produced in large factory lines, so things like working conditions, salaries and good item quality can be kept a closer watch upon."

I know, it's pretty rare and impressive to read this nowadays. I have the chance to own several items from this brand and I can confirm that the quality is amazing.

The Gigi Bo jumpsuit is one of their best sellers. As said by Top Vintage (who regularly sell this jumpsuit) :

"Cassy, elegant, playful but also very sexy! The fitted top is nicely cut into a v-neckline and features a pleated bust part which is both suitable for a fuller and a smaller cup. The flattering 3/4 sleeves feature playful wrap overs and the pleated legs are true eye-catchers; typical forties"

What do I think about it? Well, pretty much the same.

You have to know that one of my biggest fears when I buy clothes, is that it would make my breast appear bigger than reality. I was afraid of that because of the pleats, but to be honest, it doesn't enhance or minimize the breast, it just compliments it - which I really appreciate. The fabric hugs your waist elegantly and the legs are very comfortable. By the way, you have to know that the legs are veeeery long, they may have to be shortened depending on if you want to wear the jumpsuit with or without heels!

Do I see a negative point? Yes, I do. Now I own two of them, I need them in every single colorway!!!

Q-pot Dress

Q-pot is 15 years old. Berry happy anniversary Q-pot (berry happy, very happy... you got it?! ^w^)! To celebrate it, the famous Japanese brand just launched a new collection named “Q-pot Dress”.

Q-pot a 15 ans. Fraise heureux anniversaire Q-pot (fraise heureux, très heureux... c'est bon, vous l'avez ? ^w^) ! Et pour célébrer tout ça, la célèbre marque japonaise vient tout juste de sortir une nouvelle collection nommée “Q-pot Dress”.

It’s the collection that all Q-pot fans have been waiting for long, an apparel line!!!! And what a line! For the first release, all the items have been designed around Q-pot favorite’s berry, the cute and tasty ichigo (strawberry). Dresses, cardigans, shirt and t-shirts come in various cuts for all tastes.

C'est la collection que tous les fans de Q-pot attendaient depuis longtemps, une ligne de vêtements !!! Et quelle ligne ! Pour cette première collection, tous les articles ont été construits autour de la baie préférée de Q-pot, la belle et délicieuse ichigo (fraise). Elle comprend des robes, cardigans, chemises et t-shirts dans de nombreuses coupes et pour tous les goûts.

Of course, I love the collection! The sleeveless dress is to die for. Unfortunately the bust measurements are too small for me (84cm when I’d need 92cm…).

Bien évidemment, j'adore cette collection ! La robe sans manches est adorable. Mais malheureusement, les mesures de buste sont trop petites pour moi (84 cm, et il me faudrait 92 cm...)

The other item that makes my heart miss a beat is the beautiful tunic / t-shirt. I find this one perfect for spring and summer! It’s not a regular t-shirt, I mean, look at it!!! Isn’t it amazing?!

L'autre article qui fait battre mon cœur c'est cette sublime tunique / t-shirt. Je la trouve parfaite pour le printemps et pour l'été ! C'est n'est pas un simple t-shirt, je veux dire, il n'y a qu'à le regarder ! Est-ce qu'il n'est pas merveilleux ?!

J'ai décidé de ne choisir que 6 lolitas, dans le cas contraire la liste aurait été bien trop longue ! Toutes les lolitas sont inspirantes à leurs façons, par leurs passions, leur dévouement à la mode, leurs expérimentations avec la mode (je pense à Hello Batty qui est géniale pour ça), leurs projets, juste par le fait d'être elles-mêmes. ♥
Peut-être que j'écrirai un peu plus sur elles dans le futur. Est-ce que d'autres articles de ce genre vous plairaient ?
