Summer 2015 - Doll Classica Tea Party

In July the 3rd, the main department of "Rouge Dentelle Rose Ruban" association organized its annual Parisian event in collaboration with "Le chemin de briques roses". The name of this event was "Doll Classica", a name chosen to honor our special guest, Midori Fukasawa. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to join us because of some health problem. I hope she'll get better very soon ♥
The Doll Classica took place in a beautiful Art Deco room of the Biermans-Lapôtre Foundation. The place was beautiful and large enough to welcome comfortably all the attendees. 

Le 3 juillet le département principal de l'association Rouge Dentelle Rose Ruban a organisé son évènement Parisien annuel en collaboration avec "Le Chemin de Briques Roses. Le nom de cet event était "Doll Classica", nom choisi en l’honneur de notre invitée d'honneur Midori Fukasawa. Malheureusement, elle n'a pas été capable de nous rejoindre à cause de problèmes de santé. J'espère qu'elle se remettra très vite ♥
La Doll Classica a eu lieu dans la très belle pièce  Art Déco de la fondation Biermans-Lapôtre. Le lieu était magnifique et assez grand pour accueillir confortablement les participants. 

Mila, Yumi and I had the task to present a tricks and tips tutorial. The aim was to show that using a same outfit base you can complete different coordinates with just using accessorizes. We had a lot of fun doing this tutorial (even if I have to admit it was a real torture to wear a coat and a bolero by this heat). I choose to dress Mila with a sweet/punk coordinate and Yumi with a Gothic lolita coordinate.  After that I changed to another coordinate, because I was too damn hot!

Mila, Yumi et moi avons eu la tâche de présenter un tutoriel "trucs et astuces". Le but était de montrer qu'à partir d'une coordination de base il est possible de réaliser des coordinations différentes en utilisant uniquement des accessoires. Nous nous sommes beaucoup amusées à faire ce tutoriel (même si je dois avouer que c'était une véritable torture de devoir porter un manteau et un boléro par cette canicule). J'avais choisi d'habiller Mila en "sweet/punk" et Yumi en gothic lolita. À la fin j'avais tellement chaud que j'ai changé de coordination.

After the tutorial we ran to the buffet to enjoy fresh drinks and a piece of cake. The menu was delicious! After we had eaten, our special guest of the day made her entrance: Luna Haruna, a famous Japanese singer and model for KERA, was here with Fuji TV to sing some of her songs for us! 

À la suite du tuto nous avons couru vers le buffet pour attraper des boissons fraiches et une part de gâteau. Le menu était délicieux !  Après avoir mangé, notre invitée du jour fit son entrée : Luna Haruna, une célèbre chanteuse Japonaise et modèle pour KERA, était ici avec Fujii TV pour nous chanter quelques-unes de ses chansons !

Once Upon A Card - A magical Tea Party

After months of hard work, then came the D-day...The day of the first RDRR Centre Tea Party named  "Once Upon A Card". Once Upon a Card is not a regular Tea Party, it is a magic Tea Party! This event has been held in the beautiful Casino of Châtel-Guyon, in the beautiful room named "The ambassadors room".
And what would have been a magic tea party without a magician? (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ A magician was here to entertain the attendees and two wonderful photographers, Pendora's Box and Bougnat Photos, were also present!

Après des mois de travail acharné le Jour-J est arrivé... Le jour de la première tea party RDRR Centre nommée la "Once Upon A Card". Once Upon a Card n'est pas une simple tea party, c'est une tea party magique ! Cet évènement a eu lieu dans le magnifique casino de Châtel-Guyon, dans la superbe salle "des ambassadeurs".

Et qu'aurait été une tea party magique sans magicien ? (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Un magicien était présent pour divertir les participants et deux photographes, Pendora's Box et Bougnat Photos, étaient également présents.

For this event, I've decided to do most of the things by myself. During two months (roughly) I've worked every evening to handmade the gift for all the attendees, a card shape two-way brooch. All the brooches were unique and very important because they were used as the "number" of the attendees for the raffle and to vote for the best coordination!

But I could have never achieve everything just by myself. I've the chance to have a wonderful family in law who wanted to participate to this project. After I told them all the things I wanted to do by myself, they decided to take vacations to come and help me for the preparation and the animation. They arrived at home two days before the D-day to help me to cook and to buy all the things missing for the menu. I feel blessed to have them in my life, they supported me so much.

Pour cet event j'ai décidé de faire la plupart des choses maison. Durant deux mois (à peu prêt) j'ai travaillé chaque soir pour faire main les cadeaux de tous les participants, des broches en forme de cartes. Toutes les broches étaient uniques et très importantes car utilisées comme "numéros" des participants pour la tombola et le vote de la meilleure coordination !

Mais je n'aurais jamais pu tout faire tout me seule. J'ai la chance d'avoir une merveilleuse belle famille qui a voulu participer à ce projet. Après leur avoir expliqué toutes les choses que je souhaitais faire, ils ont décidé de prendre des vacances pour venir m'aider dans la préparation et l'animation.  Ils sont arrivés deux jours avant la tea party pour m'aider en cuisine et acheter toutes les choses manquantes au menu. Je me sens tellement chanceuse de les avoir dans ma vie, ils m'ont énormément supporté ! 


And what to say about the tea party but that I'm so happy so many people came from so far to attend it! I really hope you enjoyed your time  ♥ 

Et que dire de la tea party a part que je suis vraiment heureuse que tellement de personnes soient venues d'aussi loin pour y assister! J'espère vraiment que vous avez passé un bon moment ♥

CGC 2015 - Conference and Fashion show ♥

Last 21-22 march I've spent my whole week-end at the Clermont-Geek Convention (CGC). The CGC is a convention dedicated to video games / cosplay / comics / Japan lovers. The program of this year was similar to the one of the previous editions: cosplay contests but also many interesting conferences, singers and dancers contests and so much more. Many awesome guests were invited, as Marcus, Genius and Kanye (famous French presenters for gaming TV shows and professional video gamers), David Chan who is a famous French cosplayer, famous french youtubers and so on.

Ces 21-22 mars j'ai passé la totalité de mon week-end à la Clermont-Geek Convention (CGC). La CGC est une convention dédiée aux jeux vidéos / cosplay / comics / amoureux du Japon. La programmation de cette année était similaire à celles des années précédentes : concours de cosplay mais aussi de nombreuses conférences très intéressantes, des concours de chant, de danse et bien plus. De nombreux invités absolument géniaux étaient présents, comme Marcus, Genius et Kayane (célèbres présentateurs télé d'émissions liées au gaming mais surtout joueurs professionnels de jeux vidéos), David Chan qui est un célèbre cosplayer Français, de nombreux youtubers reconnus et j'en passe !

I've had the chance to be invited as Kawaii Ambassador and as the owner of the Center pole of "Rouge Dentelle Rose Ruban" (RDRR) association to present a conference about lolita fashion and to organize a lolita Fashion show. During this two days I also had a booth in order to communicate about lolita fashion. I'm surprised to see how many people was interested in discovering this fashion!

J'ai eu la chance d'être invitée en tant qu'ambassadrice Kawaii et responsable du pôle centre de l'association "Rouge Dentelle et Rose Ruban" (RDRR) pour présenter une conférence sur la mode lolita et un défilé de mode lolita. Durant ces deux jours j'ai également eu à ma disposition un stand pour pouvoir communiquer sur la mode lolita. Je suis surprise de voir combien de personnes étaient intéressées par la découverte de celle-ci !

The conference

My conference theme was "Lolita Fashion: Frills, Friendship, Freedom and Independence". I built it in the way to make it accessible to peolpe who have no ideao about what is lolita fashion. It was scheduled during the first day of the convention, between noon and 1PM. This was definitely not the best time slot to present a conference about lolita fashion presented during a "japan/geek" convention. That's why when time to present it came, I was a bit worried to find an empty room...

Le thème de ma conférence était "La mode lolita : volants, amitié, liberté et indépendance". Je l'ai réalisé dans le but de la rendre accessible aux gens qui n'ont aucune idée de ce qu'est la mode lolita. Elle a été programmée pendant le premier jour de la convention, entre midi et 13h. Ce n'était définitivement pas le meilleur créneau pour une conférence sur la mode lolita présentée au cours d'une convention "Japon/geek". Ainsi, quand l'heure de présenter ma conférence arriva, j’étais un peu inquiète de me trouver devant  une salle vide... 

But, when I opened the conference room door, I've had a good surprised!  I saw about 30 faces in front of me and I felt so happy to see that so many people was waiting for me (for that kind of convention, 30 person it's a lot). I've had some excellent feedback about the conference, all the work I put in it worth for these words!

Mais lorsque j’ai ouvert les porte j'ai eu une belle surprise ! J'ai alors apperçu une trentaine de visages devant moi, et cela m'a rendu tellement heureuse de voir que tant de gens étaient en train de m'attendre (pour ce genre de convention c'est pas mal du tout). J'ai eu d'excellents retour sur cette conférence, tout le travail que j'ai mis dedans valait vraiment le coup !

The Fashion show

This is the second year in a row that the organization ask me to animate a lolita fashion show and I feel very happy and honored to have their full confidence. They asked me to do something different then past year and I thought it would be interesting to organize a "Lolita made in France" fashion show. Three French brands have been presented during the fashion show : Menthe Chocolat, Suture Clothing and Nostalgromancie.

I'm very happy that all these brands accepted to work with me and I feel blessed to have found so many amazing models. Here are some pictures of the fashion show.

C'est la seconde année de suite que l'équipe organisatrice me demande d'animer un défilé de mode et je suis vraiment heureuse et honorée d'avoir leur totale confiance. Ils m'ont demandé de faire quelque chose de différent de l'année précédente et j'ai pensé que ce serait intéressant d'organiser un défilé "Lolita made in France". Trois marques Française ont été présentées durant ce défilé : Menthe Chocolat, Suture Clothing et Nostalgromancie.

Je suis très heureuse que ces marques aient bien voulu travailler avec moi et me sens chanceuse d'avoir trouvé des modèles absolument merveilleuses. Voici quelques photos du défilé.
